Welcome to The Greyhound at Halton

A warm welcome awaits you from Chris, Karen and the team. We are the Halton Village pub, located just outside Lancaster. Serving delicious home-cooked food, a wide range of beers and other alcoholic drinks, as well as a selection of soft drinks and snacks. The Greyhound is a dog-friendly pub.

The Greyhound is a spacious, relaxed pub with a family-friendly atmosphere. We have plenty of indoor seating, although booking is advisable for dining. We also have a big beer garden for when the sun shines, along with extensive seating at the front and side of the pub. We are proud members of Timothy Taylor’s Champion Club.

We serve a wide range of home-cooked food daily, Monday to Saturday, from 12pm to 8pm (last orders 7.45pm).

Our popular Sunday lunch menu is served from 12pm to 7pm (last orders 6.45pm).

Tuesday – Pie Peas & Pint (Homemade Pie, Peas, gravy & Pint of standard draught – £10)

Wednesday – homemade pie, peas, gravy & pint of standard draught – £12.

Thursday – Pizza & Prosecco (Free glass of Prosecco with any pizzas)

Thursday – free glass of Prosecco with any 12″ pizza.

Friday Theme Food Nights at The Greyhound

Friday – international theme food nights every two weeks.

Saturday steak night – grab two rump steaks with all the trimmings and a bottle of house wine for two people to share at only £25 per person.

Sunday – Our popular Roast Dinners. Served all day; Adult £16.50, Child £13.50.

  We visited The Greyhound last Sunday while looking after our grandson. We had the Sunday roast. We both agreed it was the best pub Sunday roast we have ever had and at 74 I’ve had a few. I had the pork and my wife had the turkey. Everything was cooked to perfection. No mushy veg and great roast potatoes. I don’t normally write reviews but this place deserves recognition for its great roasts.
